Eighty-five percent of Haiti’s children do not have the
opportunity to go to school because the parents do not have the money to
send them. Here children must have uniforms, registration fee and tuition
in order to attend school.
As needed, the Director of Child Sponsorship, Evelyn, occasionally visits the child and family to check on their progress. Before accepting to sponsor a child in school, Vine Ministry interviews the parents and child to determine the need. The child’s Christian education is considered just as important as their school work. Therefore, the child is required to attend church, Vine Church if possible. Your $25 per month will pay for registration, tuition, and uniforms. Depending on the money exchange rate, we may occasionally be able to buy some rice or beans for the family.
