The Vine Evangelical Baptist Church is a New Testament church that was originally located at #52 Rue Lalue in downtown Port-au-Prince, just several blocks from the national palace. This church had it’s beginning in the form of cell groups. They met in four different homes under the leadership of Joel Saint Amour . We called Pastor Joel to be the pastor. The church grew as Pastor Joel taught strong biblical and ethical principles from the Word of God. God has blessed the church. After three years the people expressed a strong desire to come together for celebration, praise and worship, teaching and preaching. The present building was rented for this purpose. Here people are being taught, lives are changed and people are receiving the Lord. There are between 200 and 250 people in attendance on Sunday morning. Services are held four times each week. The church now meets at their new location.
